Promotion Goal
As with most public and resort golf properties based in Las Vegas, the course was looking to generate additional revenue during the summer months with a focus on local residents versus out-of-town guests. In doing so, the property was very conscientious of running a promotion that was on-brand and didn’t come across as a green fee “fire sale.” The Legacy partnered with the Southern Nevada Golf Association and with UnderPar/PriceLooper to position an offer in front of the association membership – a perfectly targeted audience and promotion theme that adhered to the branding wishes of the property.
Promotional Offer
The single player, deep discount offer was only available for purchase by association members during a 7-day window; purchased vouchers were redeemable between early July and the first week of September.
Promotion Success
In total, 330 rounds were purchased. A large percentage of golfers who redeemed spent more money on property than standard, high-season patrons.
